Job summary

Alphatec Spine is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Navigation & Robotics to drive capital equipment sales across the Southeast, including Valence. You will develop territory strategies, build a robust pipeline, and partner with surgeons, hospitals, and distributors to meet revenue targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of medical device spine sales, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel 50–75% across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful medical device sales experience in spine.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast territory.
• Proven ability to develop and close surgeon interest in novel spine technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive capital sales revenue for Valence Navigation & Robotics products throughout the Southeast territory.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve objectives.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities within hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and surgeon practices.
• Create and deliver value-based proposals and presentations to key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close capital sales while maintaining profitability.
• Establish trusted relationships with surgeons, administrators, operating room leadership, supply chain personnel, and executive stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Navigation customers and guide them through evaluation, purchasing, implementation, and adoption.
