Job summary

ATEC Spine is seeking an Area Sales Manager, Navigation & Robotics for the Northeast to drive capital equipment sales growth across hospitals and ambulatory facilities. You will develop territory plans, manage pipelines, and conduct demonstrations, partnering with distributors and surgeons to meet commercial goals.

The role requires 5+ years in medical device spine sales, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and close surgeon interest in novel spine technologies.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the Northeast territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive capital sales revenue for Valence Navigation & Robotics products throughout the Northeast territory.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve annual sales objectives.
• Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities within hospitals, health systems, ASCs, and surgeon practices.
• Create and deliver compelling value-based proposals and presentations to key stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close capital sales opportunities while maintaining profitability objectives.
• Establish trusted relationships with surgeons, administrators, OR leadership, supply chain personnel, and executives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Navigation customers and guide them through evaluation, purchasing, implementation, and adoption.
