Job summary

CSL Behring seeks a Director of State Government Affairs, Southeast US, to serve as the primary contact for state legislators and policymakers across the Southeast region. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, government, political science, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in government affairs or state government.
• Knowledge of Southeast US legislative/regulatory processes.
• Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech policy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Represent CSL Behring before state legislatures, agencies, and committees in the Southeast region.
• Develop and execute legislative and regulatory strategies and analysis.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (market access, reimbursement, contracts, communications).
• Build coalitions with patient advocacy groups, trade associations, and policy organizations.
• Prepare concise written summaries of legislation and policy actions for leadership.
