Job summary

PPM Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor in South Carolina to ensure the health and safety of workers and the jobsite. The role involves inspecting jobsites, identifying hazards, implementing safety strategies, and ensuring compliance with OSHA.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 500/510 and CPR/First Aid certifications, along with extensive experience in safety coordination in power plant maintenance or construction.

Qualifications

• Five years in safety coordination related to fossil power generating facility maintenance.
• Ten years of total experience in safety activities for power plant maintenance or construction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of workers and the jobsite.
• Inspect jobsites to identify potential hazards.
• Create a safety culture and advise leadership of risks.
• Investigate incidents to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide guidance and coaching to field employees.

Skills

OSHA 500/510 Certification

CPR/First Aid Certification

Knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA rules

Ability to detect unsafe practices
