Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, is seeking a licensed Lead Electrical Engineer for our Southeast region, based in Tampa or Maitland, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Design and evaluate water/wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure, and industrial facilities, including electrical systems such as power distribution, process control, lighting, fire alarms, security, and communications.
  • Prepare technical documentation like reports, specifications, and review submittals.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts to produce comprehensive bidding documents.
  • Develop construction cost estimates and perform site inspections.
  • Review contractor work and resolve issues during field visits.
  • Mentor staff and monitor project budgets.
  • Assist in proposal development for new projects.
Essential Functions
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Bluebeam.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and attention to detail.
Experience
  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Experience with Bluebeam required; Revit/AutoCAD a plus.
Certification
