Join to apply for the Southeast Lead Electrical Engineer role at Wright-Pierce.

Wright-Pierce, a growing, award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Lead Electrical Engineer to support our Southeast region. This position involves evaluation, design, and construction engineering for water/wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure, and industrial facilities, including low to medium voltage power distribution systems, process control systems, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communication systems.

Location: Maitland, FL

Responsibilities
  • Design, evaluation, and construction of water/wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure, and industrial facilities.
  • Prepare technical documents such as memoranda, reports, specifications, and review submittals.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to produce comprehensive bidding documents.
  • Develop construction cost estimates.
  • Conduct site inspections and field visits to review work and resolve issues.
  • Mentor staff and monitor project budgets.
  • Assist in proposal development for new projects.
Essential Functions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Bluebeam.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and attention to detail.
Experience & Certification
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Bluebeam proficiency required.
  • Familiarity with industrial control narratives and P&IDs is a plus.
  • Experience with Revit/AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer required.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
