Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in LaGrange, IL is seeking a Security Officer for a 1st shift, school-hours schedule. The role pays $18/hour and requires a HS diploma, background check, and preferred license/training. We welcome both entry-level and experienced candidates.

You will stand guard, log visitor data, conduct foot patrols, respond to alarms, and maintain PPE while following post orders and company policies. Occasional extra hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Log visitor data and other basic reports in the security computer system.
• Conduct foot patrols in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
• Look for and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain PPE and follow PPE policies and procedures.
• Follow client site-specific duties outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours when necessary to fill open shifts.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism and comply with company policies.

Must Have:

• Previous Experience in Security
• Required Training is preferred
• Security Guard License is preferred
• Must submit or pass a background check

In this role, you will:
