• Experience working with low-wealth communities in the South.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with humor and humility.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Willingness to drive and travel ~30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop MRBF relationships in specified states and regions to identify grantmaking opportunities.
• Foster funding partnerships and networks at conferences and professional events.
• Review grant proposals, conduct due diligence, and present recommendations to the board.
• Stay informed on philanthropic trends and regional context.
• Respond to grant inquiries and assist grant seekers through MRBF processes.
