Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive professional experience in philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, or a related field.
• Experience living and working in the American South and knowledge of its diverse communities.
• Understanding of the root causes of systemic inequities and the long-term effects on people of color, low-wealth, and other marginalized communities.
• Demonstrated commitment to advancing racial equity, social justice and systems change.

Responsibilities

• Support grantmaking processes and evaluate the impacts of MRBF’s programs, grants, investments, and related activities.
• Collaborate with the chief strategy officer, network officers, grants manager and others to advance MRBF’s mission.
