Job summary

DocStar Medical Partners, LLC seeks a residency-trained pediatric dentist in South Dakota to join a dental clinic with 10 operatories and 25 patient visits per day. The provider will perform pediatric procedures, supervise hygiene, and coordinate with the off-site hospital for sedation cases.

The schedule runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7am-5pm; Wednesday 7am-1:30pm; Friday 7am-12pm, with 3 MAs per dentist and in-office sedation once monthly.

Qualifications

• Licensed pediatric dentist with SD residency training.
• SD license or eligibility required for practice.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric dentistry procedures: hygiene, fillings, extractions, SS crowns.
• Administer nitrous oxide and in-office sedation as needed.
• Work with a team of 2-3 hygiene columns and 3 MAs per dentist.

Other additional pertinent information: 3 MA per dentist, hygiene columns between doctors- 2-3colums of hygiene per doctor.

10 chairs w/ op/restorative rooms

1 doctor travels off-site to a local hospital to preform (average) 6 sedation cases each day. Each doctor has 1 day of in office sedation each month

2 columns of recares, new patients and limited exams.
