Job summary

Complete Health in western South Dakota seeks a compassionate Dentist to join our community health center team. You will diagnose, plan treatment, and deliver preventive and restorative care to diverse patients across all ages, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

ESSENTIAL: DDS/DMD from an accredited school, SD license, DEA, and CPR; commitment to patient-centered care and underserved populations.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Current South Dakota dental license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Current DEA registration and CSR licensure as required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental services for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Perform examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient education.
  • Deliver preventive, restorative, surgical, and emergency dental services.
  • Provide fixed and removable prosthodontics and basic endodontic treatment.
  • Review medical histories and coordinate care with medical providers when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, medical providers, and behavioral health staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Support CHCBH's mission of providing accessible care to underserved and vulnerable populations.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards.

Position Summary

Our Dentists provide comprehensive oral healthcare services to patients of all ages in a community health center setting. Requirements
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Current South Dakota dental license or ability to obtain licensure

Preferred
  • Experience practicing in a community health center, public health, rural health, or general practice setting
  • Experience treating diverse and underserved patient populations
