Job summary

1 Hotel Austin, L.L.C. is seeking a detail-obsessed Sous Chef to join our fast-paced, high-volume scratch kitchen.

You will lead a motivated team, assist in all manner of food preparation, supervise line staff, manage inventory and drive daily operational excellence. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.

Qualifications

About you

Passionate about culinary arts and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus. Advanced knowledge of culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Excels at communication, both verbal and written. Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
