The Sous Chef at Levy is responsible for executing high-quality cuisine, leading the culinary team, and ensuring operational excellence at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center.

You will manage menus, maintain recipe standards, coach staff, and control costs while upholding Levy's standards and values in a fast-paced venue environment in Boston.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a culinary leadership role.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Strong financial and operational knowledge.
• High computer proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Execute menus and maintain recipe standards
• Ensure consistent, high-quality food and guest experience
• Conduct daily kitchen walkthroughs and maintain show quality
• Gather guest feedback and support continuous improvement
• Address guest service issues and support company initiatives

Controls

• Utilize systems for purchasing, POS, and labor management
• Manage inventory, product handling, and cost controls
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security standards
• Forecast, schedule, and plan for operational needs
• Lead, coach, and develop team members
• Support hiring, training, and performance management
• Foster a positive, productive team environment

Qualifications
