Job Description
As a Sous Chef in SS Outlets, you will lead culinary execution across our high-volume quick-service and self-service venues, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency at every touchpoint. In this role, you will balance speed with excellence — delivering fresh, well-executed food while mentoring and developing your culinary team. Partnering with the Room Chef, you’ll help drive operational performance, maintain food standards, and create a kitchen culture built on accountability, teamwork, and pride.
Full Time | Night Shift
Off | Sunday & Monday
Tuesday- Thursday | 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday & Saturday | 8:00pm – 6:00am
Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule based on the business needs
Train, coach, and develop Master Cooks, Cooks, Pantry Workers, and Kitchen Helpers
Ensure superior food quality, consistency, and presentation in a fast-paced environment
Oversee requisitions, labeling, dating, and sanitation standards
Maintain strong knowledge of foundational culinary techniques including sauces, stocks, and soups
Assist with purchasing, receiving, and inventory control to support cost management
Support scheduling and daily labor alignment with business demands
Communicate effectively with service teams and leadership to resolve operational needs
Uphold all health department regulations and company standards
Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a supervisor
Possesses a current ServeSafe Certification (preferred)
Holds a High School Diploma or GED
Provides strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Demonstrates flexibility with working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
