Plum Market Corporation is seeking a Sous Chef of the Prepared Foods Department to lead daily BOH operations, ensure top-quality menu items, and maintain safety and standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You will work closely with the Team Leader and train staff to deliver scratch-made, organic, local, and specialty offerings.

Formación

• Experience in a culinary leadership role in foodservice or retail.
• Knowledge of food prep, kitchen safety, sanitation, and inventory.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with coaching ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen management systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee BOH operations, ensuring proper prep and production.
• Lead in absence of the Chef de Cuisine and ensure smooth operations.
• Coach and support BOH team members to maintain quality and safety.
• Support production scheduling, prep guides, and planning.
• Enforce food safety and sanitation procedures and compliance.
• Lead by example in communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Address customer and team concerns promptly.
• Assist with performance management and coaching as needed.
• Partner with leadership to manage labor, shrink, and inventory.
