Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in Denver is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department for a facility. You will supervise, prepare and cook various items, develop daily menus and assist with ordering, working with the Executive Chef to create new menus and programs.

Salary is $65,000 to $70,000 with benefits including medical, dental and vision. Candidates should have an A.S. or equivalent and some kitchen management experience; ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Catering experience is a plus.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations knowledge desirable.
• Knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation and cost controls preferred.
• Computer literacy (MS Office) required; ServSafe is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists the Executive Chef with menu planning and creation.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
