Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Sous Chef for Bazille in Topanga/Canoga Park, CA. You will lead a scratch-cooking kitchen, mentor staff, and drive weekly specials while aligning with profitability and compliance goals.

Qualifications

2+ years in full-service, upscale restaurant management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; basic accounting awareness.
Passion for quality food and exceptional customer service.
Food handler’s card where required by local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead the kitchen crew in scratch cooking and weekly specials.
Train, motivate and develop kitchen staff while aligning with business goals: process improvements, growth, efficiency and profitability.
Ensure the kitchen is consistently clean and passes health and safety standards (white glove test).
Collaborate with restaurant leadership to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
