Job summary

Snowbasin is seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and F&B Director to manage daily kitchen operations and BOH teams. You will uphold health code standards, lead as Manager on Duty when needed, and ensure consistent, safe food preparation.

The role requires strong English communication, 3+ years of kitchen experience, and the Utah Food Handler's Permit. Expect a dynamic schedule and on-site responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Working knowledge of cooking techniques, safety, and food safety.
• Utah Food Handler's Permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily kitchen operations and supervise BOH staff under the Chef de Cuisine.
• Ensure safe operation of kitchen equipment and adherence to health codes.
• Enforce Snowbasin policies and sustainability-focused SOPs.
• Lead by example as Manager on Duty in the absence of senior chefs.
• Maintain sanitation, portion control and consistent quality across outlets.
