Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership. The Sous Chef is the third in command and oversees food production, ensuring staff perform to the quality standards set by the Executive Chef.

This role includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a starting rate with competitive compensation. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction in a dynamic resort casino environment.

Qualifications

• Degree from a postsecondary culinary arts training program.
• Minimum of three years in a food preparation position.
• Previous customer service preferred.
• Must possess good communication skills including reading, writing and speaking effectively.

Responsibilities

• Establish production levels based on house counts or business forecast and post the menu forecast for staff view.
• Supervise kitchen preparation for service of all stations.
• Ensure portion sizes and quality standards are maintained by staff.
• Supervise the production of all food items.
• Maintain awareness of information security policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional work environment.
