Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a Production Cook to prepare a variety of menu items and follow recipes in a fast-paced casino environment. You will rotate across cooking stations, manage temperatures, and ensure sanitation while delivering prompt service to guests.

The role requires 2 years of intermediate cooking skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong customer service abilities. Salary starts at a competitive rate with opportunities for growth and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write and speak effectively to employees as well as customers.
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between cooking stations and restaurants in hot temperature areas and manage specific food items.
• Must have command of all stations of the kitchen: roast, fry, pasta, vegetable, grill, pantry, breakfast, sauté and high-volume cooking.
• Maintain proper food temperatures in accordance with ServSafe standards.
• Properly label, date and rotate all products to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Review production schedule to determine food requirements and quantities.
