Job summary

Eurest USA in Princeton, NJ is hiring a Sous Chef I to lead culinary operations in a corporate dining setting. You will assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation while upholding client culture, Health Department regulations, and Eurest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, coordinating menus, managing food costs, and contributing to program development with the culinary and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related culinary experience including supervisory responsibility.
• Experience in corporate dining, hotels, or healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Ability to plan and distribute production sheets.
• ServSafe or health department certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
• Oversee culinary functions and ensure adherence to client culture and guidelines.
• Motivate, train, and direct back-of-house staff.
• Coordinate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs.
• Control costs and manage expenditure.
