Morrison Living, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Sous Chef I to support the overall food program, assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation, while upholding the client’s culture and health regulations. This role also involves training and directing back-of-house staff to achieve quality, freshness, and presentation goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of culinary experience, including 1 year in a management role, with knowledge of food cost controls and MS

Qualifications

• 5 years of culinary experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in diverse dining environments (restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, healthcare).
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating and preparing various food items.
• Assist with menu planning and creation.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Manage cost controls and expenditures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
