Job Details
  • We are hiring immediately for full-time SOUS CHEF positions.
  • Location: 1525 West WT Harris Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28262. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, morning shifts. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior culinary experience preferred.
  • Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Helps the Executive Chef prepare and cook foods, coordinates activities of kitchen staff, and assumes responsibility in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Cook and prepare food following recipes and standards, meeting deadlines based on production orders.
  2. Supervise food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  3. Store food safely following all sanitation procedures.
  4. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, and temperature maintenance.
  5. Maintain sanitation of equipment and workstations.
  6. Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
  7. Understand and explain menu items accurately.
  8. Monitor peak production hours.
  9. Oversee inventory, deliveries, and waste tracking.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
