Job Summary

The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations, including food preparation, menu development, cost control, and catering execution. This role involves supervising hourly staff, ensuring high-quality standards, and implementing new culinary programs. Ideal for a driven, hands-on culinary professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with menu planning and cost control

  • Oversee food prep, production, and presentation

  • Lead catering event execution

  • Support rollout of new culinary programs

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience

  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens

  • Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen technology

  • ServSafe certification preferred

  • Catering experience is a plus

  • Strong communication and client service skills
