Join our culinary team in Boston, MA

As a Sous Chef, you will oversee the Culinary Department at a high-volume, premier corporate dining facility in Boston, MA. Your responsibilities include supervising food preparation, catering, developing menus, and working with the Executive Chef on various culinary operations. Flexibility to work early mornings (5:30 am) and late evenings (until 11:00 pm) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing costs and expenditures
  • Participate in menu planning and creation
  • Coordinate and execute catering events
  • Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary/kitchen management, including high-volume catering
  • Catering experience is essential
  • Experience with complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction activities
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
