Sous Chef (Earn up to $85k/yr + Bonus Structure)

Hogsalt is seeking a Sous Chef ($70,000-$85,000/year + Bonus Structure) to join our team in New York!

**Experience & Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years working in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
- 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Ability to identify problems and be solution-oriented regarding culinary and restaurant operations.
- Must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule is subject to modification and approval by the Culinary Director.

**Responsibilities & Duties:**
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including recruiting, hiring, training, employee reviews, and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with guests, employees, vendors, and leadership.
- Manage labor and staffing levels, approve payroll.
- Review and maintain financials daily, including food costs, expenses, and revenue.
- Uphold standards for food quality and vendor accountability.
- Complete administrative tasks, maintain facilities, supplies, and inventory.
- Provide coaching and support to hourly employees, and be able to fill any BOH position when needed.
