ISS Guckenheimer in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Sous Chef - Driver to lead daily kitchen execution, food safety, and a high-performing BOH team. The role emphasizes consistency, quality, and alignment with client culture and standards.

The ideal candidate has culinary training, is experienced in fast-paced service, and will drive menu execution while maintaining safety and cost control. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume food service or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop BOH team members to drive performance and engagement.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, production sheets, pars, and recipe execution.
• Enforce HACCP and OSHA standards; maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Act as a ISS Guckenheimer brand representative and resolve guest concerns.
• Support cost control through portioning, waste reduction, and scheduling.
