Job summary

Guckenheimer is seeking a dependable Driver to transport prepared foods from the production kitchen to service locations per a set schedule. The role involves loading/unloading, maintaining safety, and coordinating with culinary and service teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Candidates must have a valid state driver’s license and a clean DMV record. Experience with box trucks and lift gates is preferred, with a focus on safety and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Clean DMV driving record meeting company requirements.
• Experience driving a box truck with hydraulic lift gate is preferred.
• Ability to load/unload containers, carts, and supplies safely.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company delivery vehicle to transport prepared foods to service locations on a predetermined schedule.
• Complete daily deliveries safely and on time.
• Load and unload containers, hot carts, utensils, and supplies and distribute them to correct locations.
• Support kitchen, FOH, catering, pantry, and delivery needs as required.
• Coordinate with on-site staff on storeroom organization and deliveries.
• Maintain product rotation and cleanliness of walk-ins and storage areas.
