Job Summary
The Sous Chef will assist with ordering materials and supplies, menu planning, inventory management, implementing sanitation, cost, and quality control programs, and directing and coordinating the work of others. They are expected to contribute innovative ideas to stimulate business growth, meet or exceed customer requirements, and maximize profits. The Sous Chef will lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Team Leader, and will be responsible for training, directing, and managing kitchen team members.
