Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Sous-Chef to oversee kitchen personnel, maintain safety, and prepare meals per recipes and standards. Previous Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef experience in high-volume settings is preferred, with Serv Safe or Dietary Manager credentials preferred.

Strong English communication, infection control, and knowledge of therapeutic diets are required. Hours vary; shift is 8X5 in a hospital setting.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years as a Sous Chef or 2+ years as an Executive Sous Chef in high volume operations.
• Serv Safe Certified or Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must learn and apply infection control guidelines and food safety standards.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food consistency modifications.
• Ability to convert weights and measures using basic math.
