Position Title:Sous Chef

Pay Grade: G12

Reports To: Executive Chef

Salary:$80,000 - $90,000

Job Summary

This is more than just a kitchen—it’s a stage for culinary creativity. We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sous Chef ready to lead and inspire a team in delivering exceptional meals and memorable hospitality.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in overseeing all back-of-house operations, including daily food preparation and production.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and culinary program rollouts.
  • Uphold high standards for food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation.
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and cost controls to drive efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking Fo r

  • At least 5 years of culinary experience, including 1 or more years in a management or leadership role.
  • Background in high-end restaurants, catering, hospitality, or similar foodservice environments.
  • Knowledge of food and industry trends, with strong focus on quality, cost control, and safety.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred.
  • Culinary degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools preferred.
