The Role: Sous Chef

As Sous Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in the daily running and success of the kitchen. Working closely with the Directors and Head Chef, you’ll lead on menu execution and development, drive kitchen operations, and help foster a culture of creativity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistently high-quality, innovative dishes and specials
• Lead and inspire the kitchen brigade with confidence and clarity
• Manage prep schedules, stock control, compliance and maintenance
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing and accurate menu costing
• Support recruitment, training and team development
• Collaborate on seasonal and brand-led menu innovation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a Growth, early stage Buinsess
• Deep understanding of seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
• Strong leadership with a hands-on, team-focused approach
• Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail
• Experience in compliance, food safety, and best kitchen practices
• A passion for innovation, with a creative and curious mindset
