What You'll Do

Assist the Chef in supervising kitchen staff, preparing food to high standards, and maintaining sanitation throughout all food prep and storage areas.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook main course items according to established procedures.
  • Supervise preparation of all food items and assist in menu planning and ordering.
  • Check food deliveries, oversee inventory, and ensure proper storage.
  • Maintain sanitation, safety, and equipment standards.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to kitchen staff.
  • Train new employees in work procedures.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited chef's school or college.
  • Four years of cooking experience, including volume or restaurant settings.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in high-volume food service.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency with computer applications.
