Qualifications

  • 2+ years of strategic sourcing and contract management within an operator environment.
  • RFx execution, ERP entry, vendor portals, reconciliation & data accuracy.
  • Oilfield materials/fleet familiarity; data-driven decision making.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail; able to train others.
  • Proficient in Power BI and data analytics to inform sourcing decisions.

Job description

The Sourcing Specialist's primary role is to promote and implement tactical and strategic sourcing activities while proactively managing assigned commodities, supply base, and contract management. They construct RFx’s and are responsible for negotiating products or services from strategic suppliers. Additionally, they assist the contract management processes to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maximize value. They are also responsible for establishing and maintaining supplier relationships to seek maximum value for the company, including total cost of ownership. This position reports to the Sourcing Manager and is based in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
