Wilderness Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist for a remote, full-time role. You will identify physicians and advanced practice providers and build a provider pipeline to serve rural and remote communities in the Northwest and Alaska.

Ideal candidates will source via LinkedIn, directories, and job boards, maintain CRM records, and collaborate with Recruiters to move candidates through the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Build provider database in CRM by adding profiles and updating records.
• Contact providers via phone, email, text, and social media.
• Transition providers to Recruiters for evaluation and placement.
• Maintain provider database accuracy and currency.
• Monitor social media and respond to provider questions.
• Collaborate with Recruiters and Staffing leadership on provider needs.
• Support recruiting campaigns and provider network expansion.
• Send provider welcome kits.

• Regularly review and update provider records to ensure information is accurate and current.
• Follow up with providers to maintain engagement and update availability and assignment preferences.
• Monitor WMS social media platforms and respond to basic provider questions and inquiries.
• Route questions requiring additional information to the appropriate member of the WMS team.
• Work closely with Recruiters and Staffing leadership to understand current and future provider needs.
• Support recruiting campaigns and other initiatives designed to expand WMS's provider network.
• Send provider welcome kits.

Locums Sourcing Specialist

Pay Range $23-25/hr

Position Summary

The Locums Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and engaging qualified healthcare providers for Wilderness Medical Staffing. This role focuses on building and maintaining a strong provider pipeline, keeping provider information accurate and up to date, and supporting communication with providers across WMS platforms.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, personable, and comfortable communicating with physicians and advanced practice providers. This position plays an important role in connecting qualified providers with opportunities to serve rural and remote communities throughout the Northwest and Alaska.

Key Responsibilities

Source and identify qualified physicians and advanced practice providers through LinkedIn, professional directories, social media, job boards, and other sourcing platforms.

Build our database of providers in CRM by adding qualified providers and building their profiles.

• Contact and engage providers through phone, email, text, and social media.

Transition qualified and interested providers to Recruiters for continued evaluation and placement.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, healthcare staffing, sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Healthcare staffing or provider recruiting experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently.
• Comfortable communicating with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Comfortable using social media, online sourcing platforms, and recruiting technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and databases.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Travel - Occasional travel may be required for recruiting conferences, professional events, and other WMS activities, generally not exceeding 5%.
