TEKsystems is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support enterprise sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management initiatives in a hybrid San Diego setting. The role focuses on IT procurement including software, SaaS, and cloud services, with responsibility for leading RFPs, market and pricing analysis, and advising stakeholders on sourcing strategies.

The ideal candidate has strong negotiation, analytical, and contract interpretation skills with experience across IT procurement

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement across IT categories (software, SaaS, cloud services)
• Ability to read and interpret contracts and assess contractual risk
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
• Procurement certifications (CPSM, CSCP, etc.) are a plus

Description

Seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support enterprise sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management initiatives. This individual will be responsible for driving strategic procurement efforts across the organization, managing vendor relationships, conducting market and pricing analysis, leading RFP processes, negotiating complex contracts, and advising internal stakeholders on sourcing strategy and best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative, strategic mindset and possess experience supporting technology procurement initiatives including software, SaaS, cloud services, and other IT-related categories. Candidates should be comfortable reading and interpreting contracts, assessing contractual risk, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver favorable business outcomes. Strong analytical skills, independent decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and communication capabilities are critical for success in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
