Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a contract-based Project/Procurement Coordinator to manage RFQ activities, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor supplier development schedules. The role supports PPAP processes and first build with manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree, strong Excel skills, and experience with cross-functional project scheduling and clear communication with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
• Experience working on a project team with scheduling and cross-functional interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track RFQ activities.
• Ensure PO promises are entered into ERP with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier development schedules and risks.
• Execute PPAP and qualify supplier steps with functions.
• Support first build with manufacturing.
• Maintain cost data and provide analysis.
• Prepare weekly program metric updates.

Summary:

• Duration: 12 months contract
• Schedule: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM [Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM]

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track request for quote (RFQ) activities
• Work with suppliers to ensure PO promises are input into the ERP system
• Monitor supplier development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules
• Execute PPAP; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary
• Interface with manufacturing team to support first build
• Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required
• Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics. Provide summaries and prepare weekly updates as required

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications desired
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; especially Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
• Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to project scheduling and cross-functional interactions
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and orally as they will be working with a variety of suppliers
