Job summary

Aegistech is seeking an associate-level Sourcing Procurement Specialist for a long-term contract in Midtown Manhattan. The role is hybrid with onsite work 4 days a week in NYC; local candidates only and no relocation.

Candidates must be able to work on our W2 with no sponsorship and no third parties. Responsibilities include negotiating SOWs across Technology, Data Management, and Business Operations, driving cost savings, and developing global procurement strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in sourcing/procurement with global experience.
• Experience negotiating contracts with diverse suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Sourcing & Procurement with NPI/negotiations for SOWs across categories.
• Lead cost analyses and drive negotiations to meet hard savings targets.
• Develop category strategies and negotiate MSAs/SAAS terms with vendors + legal coordination.
• Coordinate RFPs, RFIs, and internal needs analysis with cross-functional teams.

Job description

Our Financial Services client located in Midtown New York City is seeking an associate-level Sourcing Procurement Specialist for a long-term contract. This position is hybrid, onsite 4 days a week in NYC. Local candidates only/NO Relocation.

• Assist Head of Sourcing & Procurement with commercial negotiations of Statement of Work (SOW’s) for all categories. This includes but is not limited to Technology, Data Management and Business Operations
• Responsible for commercial negotiations that lead to targeted Hard Savings or Cost avoidance goals and objectives for the firm
• Plan and execute effective category-level strategies and define negotiation strategies based on innovative cost models with vendors. Analyze category data and metrics to drive Procurement category strategies
• Engage with cross-functional internal teams, including needs analysis, market analysis, competitive intelligences, RFI and RFP development that lead to best overall results for the firm.
• Negotiate essential terms and conditions on MSA or SAAS related agreements. Help facilitate the process of red-lines with legal. Coordinate additions, deletions, and modifications to agreements
• Perform cost analyses for products and services based on historical and future demand, enabling fact-based negotiations with suppliers to optimize value and efficiency
• Cultivate close, influential, strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders; drive executive leadership alignment
• Work to execute global procurement strategies focused on maximizing efficiencies and delivering value to business stakeholders across the firm
• Assist in integrating to unify procurement processes and systems for the firm on a global basis

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience working in sourcing/procurement and experience in sourcing and procurement methodologies on a global level
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience; preferred major in Supply Chain Management or Finance
• Track record of success in procurement/supply vendor selection and oversight; expertise in skillfully negotiating contracts with a variety of suppliers
• Experience working with Procurement systems
• Good working knowledge of legal and contracting requirements
• Ability to understand and analyze financial data to support source selection decisions
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and management, supplier performance and relationship management, inventory management and category management
