AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the services they rely on. We work on challenging problems with many variables impacting the supply chain, and we’re looking for talented individuals to help us succeed.

You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Your role will involve collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards, while providing high capacity at minimal costs. In this role, you will manage procurement activities for Power & Cooling equipment supporting AWS data center projects, including RFQ, supplier onboarding, purchase requests, and coordination to ensure timely delivery of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Generate RFQs based on forecasted needs.
2. Track and communicate quotes with internal partners.
3. Improve procurement processes continuously.
4. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and compliant quotes.
5. Communicate risks and issues, and suggest mitigations.
6. Onboard new suppliers into procurement systems.
7. Create and monitor Purchase Orders.
8. Manage change orders.
9. Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
10. Present performance metrics related to procurement processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement, order management, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and data presentation skills.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and prioritize effectively.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and Tableau skills.
