Job summary

Clarity Business Solutions is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Formulated Products in Miami, FL. Hybrid work option available as you build the function and own the category.

You will lead sourcing across cosmetics, personal care, nutraceuticals, and consumer health, partnering with R&D, Product Development, and Quality to support a fast-growing brand. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in strategic sourcing, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of cost savings through supplier negotiations

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or category management within formulated products — cosmetics, personal care, nutraceuticals, OTC health, dietary supplements, or consumer health.
• Direct experience managing contract manufacturers — understands co-manufacturing models.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing formulated categories — FDA, cGMP, FSMA, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting NPD sourcing from concept through launch.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings via supplier negotiation and category strategy.
• Financial and commercial acumen — connect sourcing decisions to margin outcomes.
• Strong communicator who can present to and influence senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution for the formulated product category across CMOs and ingredient suppliers.
• Manage RFQ processes, supplier selection, and award decisions across new and existing products.
• Drive year-over-year cost savings through supplier negotiations, should-cost modeling, and strategic consolidation.
• Partner with R&D, Product Development, and Quality to support NPD milestones on time.
• Build and maintain supplier scorecards — tracking quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
• Own contract management for the formulated supply base — negotiation, execution, and compliance.
• Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to strengthen supply chain resilience.
• Support regulatory compliance requirements across FDA, cGMP, and relevant consumer health standards.
• Present category performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

The Role

A fast-growing consumer brand — products you'd recognize on shelves at every major national retailer — is expanding its Strategic Sourcing team. This is a critical hire for a function that is being built from the ground up with executive backing and a clear mandate to reach best-in-class.

This is the Formulated Products category lead. You'll own sourcing across cosmetics, personal care, vitamins, supplements, minerals and consumer health categories — managing contract manufacturers, driving cost performance, supporting an aggressive NPD pipeline, and building the supplier relationships that fuel the brand's next phase of growth.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
