Division Information Spectrum Brands' Home & Personal Care (HPC) Appliances business participates on a global basis in small electric appliances, shave/groom appliances and beauty appliances. Job Summary

The Sourcing Manager owns sourcing strategy and execution for assigned product categories and suppliers in the Home Appliances and Personal Care division. The role is accountable for cost, quality, delivery, innovation, supply continuity, and supplier risk. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to launch products, solve supplier issues, and improve business results.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Category & Supplier Management (45%)
  • Own category sourcing plans and supplier relationships.
  • Lead negotiations for product cost, tooling, payment terms, surcharges, and other commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier performance, capacity, compliance, and risk. Drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Lead dual sourcing, supplier diversification, and contingency plans to protect supply.
New Product & Cross-Functional Execution (30%)
  • Lead sourcing work for new products from supplier selection through launch.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, capability, capacity, speed, and risk.
  • Partner with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and regional teams to make timely decisions.
  • Drive supplier innovation, value engineering, cost breakdown reviews, and fast resolution of supplier issues.
Cost, Analytics & Operations (15%)
  • Deliver cost improvement and cost avoidance goals while challenging unsupported increases.
  • Use commodity, currency, tariff, freight, and total-cost data to guide decisions.
  • Maintain accurate pricing and supplier data in SAP and report key cost, project, performance, and risk metrics.
AI & Process Improvement (10%)
  • Use AI and digital tools to improve sourcing processes, analysis, speed, and accuracy, not only for research or drafting.
  • Identify manual work that can be simplified or automated.
  • Build, test, or help develop AI agents and automated workflows for practical sourcing needs.
  • Validate AI output, protect confidential information, and share useful solutions with the team.
Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain experience in a global environment.
  • Experience owning categories, negotiating commercial terms, supporting new product launches, and managing global suppliers.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Required Skills
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of global supply chain risk, tariffs, logistics, landed cost, and cost breakdown analysis.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams, communicate trade-offs clearly, and drive accountability.
  • Demonstrated use of AI or automation to improve a business processor team efficiency.
  • Experience creating AI agents or automated workflows is preferred. Candidates without this experience should show strong curiosity, self-directed learning, and examples of quickly applying new technology.
  • Good judgment in data privacy, information security, and accuracy checks.
Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid work model in Middleton, WI. Employees are generally expected onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work typically permitted Monday and Friday. Business needs may require additional onsite presence. Domestic and international travel may be required.
