Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for LV electrical distribution and power cables supporting Starlink, AI training clusters, and datacenter facilities. You will partner with engineers and facility leaders to define commodity strategy, manage vendor lists, and secure reliable supply with aggressive timelines.

The role emphasizes supplier qualification, multi-sourcing, cost and risk management, and the ability to operate in high-velocity environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in sourcing/procurement or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management capabilities.
• Experience with LV electrical distribution, cabling, or data-center infra is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end sourcing strategy for LV distribution equipment and cables.
• Manage supplier qualification, multi-sourcing, and performance to ensure on-time delivery.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with pricing and volume commitments.
• Deploy demand forecasting and real-time supply chain visibility tools to mitigate risks.
• Drive cost leadership through value engineering and long-term pricing strategies.
• Lead supplier innovation and joint development projects to accelerate roadmap.
