As a Supply Leader - IT you will Support global indirect sourcing strategies across key technology categories, including software, telecom, cloud hosting, and IT hardware. Global spend for IT is over $42 million and you will play a critical role in driving cost efficiency, improving supplier performance, and building a high-performing global supply base.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Support global sourcing strategies for IT categories, aligning with business goals and managing significant global spend.
  • Collaborate with senior functional leaders to drive initiatives that improve cost efficiency, service quality, and supplier capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support sourcing goals and business alignment.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce risk, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, leverage industry cost models, and negotiate favorable agreements that align with company objectives.
  • Drive sourcing excellence through RFx processes, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract management to ensure compliance and value realization.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on sourcing practices and collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Stay informed on market trends and emerging technologies to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Support supplier governance and lead performance management to achieve year-over-year improvements.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in indirect sourcing, with a strong emphasis on IT procurement is preferred.
  • Experience leading sourcing initiatives within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
  • In-depth understanding of software licensing models (SaaS, perpetual, subscription) and IT services procurement.
  • Skilled in negotiating complex technology agreements, including software, integration, and consulting services.
  • Proficient in sourcing tools and spend analytics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage supplier relationships.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
