Job summary

Baker Hughes Internship program offers a hands-on sourcing experience for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree. You will work on supplier evaluations, assist in managing supplier relationships, and help process purchase orders while learning how procurement aligns with HS&E standards.

You will gain exposure to inventory management and project-based tasks within a global energy company, with mentoring, a buddy system, and relocation possibilities for the internship duration.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, STEM-related or business program.
• GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Willing to relocate for the internship duration.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in evaluating and assessing potential suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Support management of relationships with existing suppliers, including communication and evaluations.
• Assist in managing inventory levels to avoid stockouts and reduce excess costs.
• Support creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders for materials and services.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure compliance in all situations.
