Atrium is seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Assistant – Product Development to support prototyping, data management, and development timelines in a fast-paced fashion environment.

In this temporary role, you will coordinate samples, BOMs, and vendor communications across design, sourcing, and overseas teams, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate product records. Bachelor’s degree is required, with 1+ year experience and strong Excel skills essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Track prototype samples and ensure on-time delivery throughout the development cycle.
• Maintain accurate product information, style details, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) across PLM and related systems.
• Organize samples for design reviews, fittings, and cross-functional meetings.
• Attend fittings and document feedback, product revisions, and specification updates.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, supply chain, and overseas teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tracking reports for sample status, costing, and seasonal milestones.
• Follow up with vendors on outstanding deliverables and elevate delays or potential issues.
• Assist with prototype orders, sample distribution, and product development projects.

Position Overview

Preferred Experience/Skills For The Sourcing Assistant – Product Development

• Apparel industry experience, particularly wovens or cut-and-sew knits.
• Familiarity with PLM, PDM, PIM, or MDM systems.
• Experience tracking samples, maintaining product specifications, or communicating with overseas vendors.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
