Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is assisting a globally recognized fashion company in New York to find a detail-oriented Sourcing Assistant – Product Development. You will support product development, sourcing, and production activities, coordinating samples, data, and timelines from design through pre-production.

Track prototypes, maintain BOMs in PLM systems, organize design reviews and fittings, and liaise with design, sourcing, supply chain, and overseas teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in product development, sourcing, or production.
• Strong Excel proficiency and comfortable with MS Office.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across teams/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Track prototype samples and ensure on-time delivery throughout development.
• Maintain accurate product information, style details, and BOMs across PLM and related systems.
• Organize samples for design reviews, fittings, and cross-functional meetings.
• Attend fittings and document feedback, revisions, and specs updates.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, supply chain, and overseas teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain tracking reports for sample status, costing, and milestones.
• Follow up with vendors on outstanding deliverables and escalate delays.
• Assist with prototype orders, sample distribution, and product development projects.
