Job summary

Vizient is seeking a strategic sourcing expert to lead enterprise healthcare initiatives, delivering measurable financial and clinical value. You will guide complex sourcing, negotiate agreements, and drive value analysis with clinicians and supply chain leaders to support evidence-based decisions.

You will apply advanced market expertise, influence leadership, and collaborate across legal, finance, and operations to optimize supplier performance and implement sourcing solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise sourcing experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
• Experience leading Physician Preference Item (PPI) / Clinical sourcing and value analysis preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with client priorities and market opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycle: requirements, RFIs, RFPs, evaluations, and contracts.
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and market position to inform recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to address issues.
• Lead value analysis committees and align stakeholders.
• Present strategies and savings to executive leadership.
• Analyze spend and performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Measure outcomes including savings, quality, and implementation success.
• Apply AI fluency to improve sourcing decisions and outcomes.
