The Mechanical Sourcing team is searching for an exceptional individual with a blend of thermal and mechanical knowledge to join our ranks. In this role, you’ll play a key part in formulating and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that will shape our product offerings. Your Impact
  • Supplier Selection and Value Optimization: Drive supplier engagement, negotiation, and selection to secure the highest quality thermal and mechanical components that align with Cisco’s stringent standards for performance, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with Cisco's suppliers, engineers, product managers, and quality teams to drive innovation in thermal and mechanical solutions, integrating sourcing strategies that push technological boundaries while meeting product timelines and budgetary goals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in the thermal industry with mechanical industry knowledge, able to understand relevant manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in a technical or commercial field.
  • Executive‑level influence: Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to drive alignment and decision‑making.
