Emerging Blue, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Associate in New York to support the Sourcing Manager with day-to-day email tasks and inquiries, collaborate on tech packs, and coordinate with overseas teams on orders.

The role involves working closely with Sales, Design, and Demand Planning to ensure timely and accurate buys for each season. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1+ years of Sourcing experience, plus strong organizational and communication skills and

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• 1+ years of experience as Sourcing Coordinator or Sourcing Associate.
• Foreign language ability is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Sourcing Manager and/or Director with daily emails and sourcing inquiries.
• Coordinate with Design and Design Operations for tech packs, design changes and production packages.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure buys are entered and updated in the buy plan.
• Communicate with overseas teams on PO adjustments, stock orders and special orders.
• Follow up with sales and overseas offices regarding ad sample status.
• Gather information to support analysis and disposition of quality issues.
• Create price charts by brand for seasonal buys and late adds.
• Create templates for seasonal pricing recaps by brand.
• Review weekly and prepare monthly status reviews.

Job Description

Sourcing Associate

Position Title: Sourcing Associate

Reports To: Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Manager/Director Sourcing and Production

Direct Reports: None

Overview

The Sourcing Associate will work closely with Sourcing & Production Manager on order placement, and work closely with Sales and overseas management in tracking and updating all information regarding order allocations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sourcing Manager and/or Director with daily emails and sourcing inquiries
• Work with Design and Design Operations for tech packs, design changes and production packages
• Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure that all buys are entered in the buy plan and updated accurately and timely each season
• Responsible for sending and following up with overseas teams on PO adjustments, stock orders and special orders, placement and status (i.e. moving labels, reorders, and daily inquiries)
• Follow up and communicate with the sales team and overseas offices regarding status of ad samples
• Gather information to support analysis and disposition of quality issues
• Create price charts by brand for each seasonal buy and late adds as needed
• Create template for seasonal pricing recaps by brand
• Review weekly and prep monthly for approval status reviews
• Monitor D/F and D/A entry
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field
• 1+ years of experience as Sourcing Coordinator or Sourcing Associate
• Ability to speak a foreign language a plus
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary $65,000-$85,000
