Job summary

SPX Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks an Analyst to join the Sourcing COE and transform complex data into actionable insights. You will analyze supplier performance, procurement spend, and KPIs to improve reliability, drive cost savings, and support strategic decisions.

Strong critical thinking and data visualization skills are essential. You will collaborate across sourcing, operations, and finance to design dashboards, automate reports, and maintain data governance as the function scales.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics with ability to turn complex data into insights.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP.
• Experience supporting Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations metrics.
• Ability to create clear visuals that convey insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Support monthly spend management reporting, analysis, and benefits tracking.
• Conduct cost scenario and impact modeling for policy changes, duties, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain data management processes ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Maintain ERP data with updated supplier pricing, lead times and origin information.
• Design, automate, and enhance dashboards and data visualizations.
• Partner with sourcing, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.
• Develop and distribute supplier performance reports and support reviews.
• Evaluate and implement analytics tools and software to improve sourcing efficiency.
• Develop, document, and deploy standard processes to improve consistency and results.
• Lead special projects and ad hoc analyses for leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and apply sound business judgment.
